Hi! I did a fully teardown on my iMac to clean it. After all when I placed back the LED screen, I saw that the 593-1049-A screen cable almost break. Right I tired to turn on the mac. No screen, just backlight. I said it should be the bad cable. I ordered one, and placed it well. The problem is the same. No screen just BACKLIGHT. And I now use the Mini display port thats works. So any ideas?
A common issue in this series is tugging on the LVDS cable can damage the logic board socket as the cable length is on the short side. Carefully open the system up again and take some nice sharp pictures of the connector so we can see if its damaged and post them here for us to see Adding images to an existing question
