I have an iMac that shows no sign of life. I an considering replacing the Power supply. Are there any guides on opening up the mac, ( I want to check the 4 diagnostic leds to confirm PSU dead ) and what replacement Power Supply would I need to order?. Does ifixit stock replacement PSU for this model, if not can anyone recommend where to get one ?. I have attached a pic of the make and model of the mac. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated as this would be my first time at a repair of this type Regards Alec

I recently bought a iMac 2011 with the same issue. One thing that helped me is taking the plug out, waiting 10 seconds, pressing the power button for 10 seconds, waiting another 10 seconds, then plugging it back in, wait 10 seconds and turn it on. Now the fans spin and disk drive made a noise, so i know it’s working but no display so still yet to fix it properly. Maybe you might have more luck with that! Also i have heard a pvram reset helps. But it requires a usb keyboard.
