Chosen Solution
wwhen I kept the computer in its original box everything was ok. After two years I open the box and start up the computer and now the screen presents this strange halo with two semicircles at the bottom.
What can it be ?
I have just bought an iMac G4 20” and it is exactly the same. I have dismantled the entire LDC and checked it all and it is certainly the LCD part it’s self. I thought it may have been the backlight but I can’t see anything that would point to backlight as it’s perfect with no tints or anything
