This iMac 17” 2006 when powered on has chime but only white screen, any solutions?
Generally a white screen issue is related to a failed hard drive. Insert your original system installation DVD and boot holding down the “C” key. If you do not have that disk you need to have a system compatible external USB source to boot from. Another alternative is using another comparable MAC in Target Mode.
