Chosen Solution

I connect my Thunderbolt display to my iMac, unfortunately, I can’t get it to work. I was spend all my night for that, can anyone help me? According to the information I got, this is a firmware/software problem. When I check thunderbolt status at “System Information > Thunderbolt” section I only saw “No hardware was found. “ message. I downloaded ThunderboltDisplayFWUpdate1.2, it says “Your computer does not need this update.” What is the correct solution for this? Also I have tested with an old HDMI monitor I used a converter, it’s not working but at display settings, It shows with monitor’s brand name but no signal comes from thunderbolt. macOS Catalina and it’s up-to-date. Thanks for answers.

NDT001 - is a hardware level error with the Thunderbolt controller chip. I’ve seen this a few times when an external display is not plugged into the same surge suppressor outlets as the system and the other peripheral devices. Ideally, I recommend using a good UPS to protect your gear.
