I can’t get an image to print despite completing nozzle check, head cleaning and head alignment, Ink levels show ok, paper comes through with no image
I was having this problem as well. Nothing but blank pages coming out of my printer. After first making sure my drivers were up to date off off Epson’s website. I contacted Epson and they asked if I had done a head cleaning and nozzle check (these can be done through your Maintenance Topic on Menu) and I said yes I had with no help. They had me run it again and the colors came through. Then I ran a third time and the color were even better. Then a fourth time and even better. Here is my verdict: If you are having blank page problems run a head cleaning more than once. It helped me after multiple runs. Hope this helps.
Hello Nelson , excuse my english because i’m an algerian, i would like to help you, if i understand your problem ,even if your ink is ok and your paper too , the paper still white without impression, i have an idea for you, you know when you make a cleaning of noozles or when you charge new cartridges in the machine there is a pump which the role is to pump ink through noozles so i advice you to check this side of your printer, and mostly a pipe who is fixed under the carriage in one side and in other side to the vacuum pump, sometimes this tube is disconnected from the (charriot en francais) carriage of parking , so when you believe that you are making a charging ink or a cleaning , the ink doesn’t move through noozles and the head it’s empty of ink therefore you have not impression even if the head moves like she does normally, and also this pipe can be clogged with dry ink, so you have to assure that he is not clogged, to do this easily, look at the back of the printer you ’ll find a little door, open it and you’ll see a grey little pipe ,so remove it and put it toward the outside and put under it a bottle or something like this to keep the ink while you clean or you put on your printer,if ink came out from this tube you have a proof that your tube is well fixed and your pump ok,but if no ink came out you have your answer remove and fix the pipe correctly, so i’ll be happy to help you, and i hope that you ’ll able to fix your problem! if you want to ask me other questions this is my mail
Have been able to air print and print directly from computer maybe 4 times since buying this useless printer over 4 years ago. I actually got it to copy yesterday for first times in months but now print is extremely large and I never made that adjustment. Plus the ink needs to be replaced way too often. Put all new cartridges in two months age thinking that might help. No! Nothing. And now three cartridges are low? I am not a computer geek but nothing adds up. I think the best idea is just toss the Epson 2450 WiFi air jet printer in the recycling bin. More than frustrated. VWB PS. Even if one was super savvy on computer issues, why should you have to spend more time fixing a printer than you do typing your best selling manuscript? Absolute waste of hard earned money!!!!!!! Do not consider buying this piece of garbage printer. My toner printer was much more reliable. It never failed me.
I hit clean heads six times and suddenly I got a faint print job. Hit it again and all is well!
I found the answer - someone said on another site that this printer can not run 64 - you have to install 32 so I just installed the 32 bit program and am going through the prompts - printed the test page and it works. I have a printer that prints now. It doesn’t print that great actually but it’s printing. I think from all the cleaning the other inks are low now but they should work.
I ran the head cleaning 3 times and the color came back when I ran nozzle check, but no black. I ran it 4 more times; still no black. I then did the manual disassembly and cleaning shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb7Bc1jG… and put a fan on the head for 15 minutes to make sure it got dried out and still no black. I ran the head cleaning 3 more times. No black. And over the course of all these cleanings the color actually got worse. A week later I ran the nozzle check again: no black. Then I head cleaning utility again. All my colors are back, including black! So for what it is worth: persevere! Save another printer from a landfill! Thanks to all who posted their extraordinary efforts which encouraged me to persevere :-)
Hello everybody the only thing which is going to work is to keep cleaning the head sometimes you will have to do it 25 times i have fixed multiple epson printers by keep doing that just dont print nozzle pattern keep cleaning over and over till you get the result
try this http://www.inkmagic.com/shopcontent.asp?…
I had the SAME issue with my WF-2650 which I purchased less that 1-yr ago. Even though I had just recently purchased a large quantity of ink for it, I was ready to throw it away. I patiently ran the nozzle clean time and time again. After about 15 nozzle cleanings… I prints perfectly. BTW: I know where you can purchase “CHEEP” ink cartridges for this printer. They are about 80% less cost than ones purchased at office supply stores.
First I cleaned the printer nozzle. That didn’t work. Then I cleaned the printer head. My printer started printing again. I would try that.
Ran the printer’s function to clean printhead nozzle three times. Back up and running! Thanks all for posting
I am having the same issue and at first, I liked the conveniency of printing out paper through your phone, laptop, and other devices. At first it was quick and it got the job done. Now, I noticed that it doesn’t print, I had ink already and when I was trying to clean the nozzle, for some reason it took all my ink and I had to buy a new one. I noticed it did it again and it work a little, now I am buying new ones to see if this time it will work. Epson Representive did explain to me that if the printer isn’t used for a while, the ink dries up, making it hard to print. I will not purchase any Epson or recommend Epson to anyone anymore. Same for my Mother’s printer did the same thing.
Service manual? I am an autotech maybe i can make something happen.
what a piece of crap i have run into all the problems as the other posts. the biggest issue is that after multiple head cleanings and alignments i ran out of ink on three different colors along with black. the printer never worked right from the beginning. i never write a review but this is the worst printer ever.
I have one of these at home and it works great, this one at the office, at first it started printing FUZZY, then I cleaned the print head and it started showing drag marks from the cable, then I set the printing effect on high instead of standard. It took longer to print but it was a bit better but not clean. I took the cartridges out and cleaned them and then replaced the print head. NOTHING but Blank paper. I’m over this stupid printer.
I removed the ink cartridges, cleaned the prongs that they sit on using cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol. Dried with cotton swabs, replaced cartridges and it prints.
After head cleaning and head alignment checks: Remove the black ink cartridge. Spray it and the inside pocket where it sits in the printer with compressed air. Replace cartridge. One more nozzle check. This has worked for me on two Epson printers as I travel back and forth. Always have a can of compressed air. Miracle stuff!
I did what most people suggested and ran the nozzle check/clean head MULTIPLE times. It took maybe 8 or 9x each for the printer to work again. Lesson that was learned is to use the printer every once in a while to prevent ink clogging or drying. It’s an expensive lesson because running the nozzle check and cleaning the heads that many times use A LOT of ink. So I suspect if this option doesn’t work for you it will likely be because you ran out of ink. If you have enough spare ink, just keep at it. The printer will work again.
This seems to be the general consensus. It seems like the printer shouldnt \need that but OTOH it was only about $100. =/
Usually this means that the printerhead is clogged or it is dryed because of empty catridges. I have managed to bring epson’s back to life with simple syringe tool using cleaning fluid. There should be a paper towel at between the printerhead and bottom of printer to get the cleaning fluid so there is no mess left after cleaning printerhead. It is also important to avoid extra mess because there is a reader “eye” at printerhead somewhere which tells where the printerhead is situated.
It won’t print. Brand new ink in it and The paper loads and comes out with no problem
I have an Epson WF2750 and I love it. My original problem was the black would not print even though I put in a new cartridge. I did a search on google and they came up with printing using glossy setting on both the computer and printer. This did work however, it took a long time to print and my husband hated it. He wanted to buy a new printer. I did some more searches and found several Youtube videos on how to clean the print heads. Well I tried it and I have my old printer back. Everything works. I used a solution of windex and rubbing alcohol, a syringe, and a 1 inch piece of tubing like for an aquarium tank. I followed the videos, turned off the machine heated the solution in the syringe and put it over the print head and injected the solution. I did it a couple of times (3) on each head until there was no more color coming out. I turned on the machine, loaded the ink, did a head cleaning and voila, it works. I am so proud of myself. I wasn’t looking forward to getting a new printer just yet as I have a supply of ink that would have gone to waste.
Printer has set for a period of time and will not print. It looks like the jets are clogged. What can I do
