Hello. I have an iPhone 6S logic board with a small current leakage (20 mA). Could somebody please tell me what are the important power lines on this phone and what are their expected resistances, so that I can measure the resistances of my board’ s power lines and compare them to the theoretical values? Update (06/16/2022) iPhone 6S, water damaged. Hasn’ t been dropped. Doesn’ t power on. The resistance of the PP_VCC_MAIN is around 400 ohms, which I think is normal. I need to know which other power lines I should measure to find what’ s the problem.
vcc_main is the main power rail but there are numerous power rails. can you tell use more about the phone, any liquid damage, has it been dropped. does it power on ?
A water damaged phone does not work because the water has created a short in the circuit. That short creates a higher current draw which damages components and creates a bigger short usually with some carbon burn. Measuring power bus resistance will likely get you nowhere.
