My Maytag dryer medc465hw0 had a blown/broken heating element. When I attempted to replace it, I incorrectly attached one of the wires. After starting I heard a loud noise and now it no longer starts/spins? Does anyone know what I broke? Thanks for your help.
Hi @livi_lotus71 , The first thing to check is if the thermal fuse is OK. If it is OK then after that you may have to use the wiring diagram to find out why there is no power being applied to the motor etc.
