Hi @fixmylaptop , What is the model number of the Seagate Momentous HDD as some are SATA drives and some are ATA? The ATA type would require an ATA to SATA converter - example only for it to work in your laptop. If it is the ATA type, there is also the available space in the laptop to be considered as can be seen in this video. With the converter installed, the HDD might not physically fit into the space. Here’s a link to the owner manual for the laptop. Go to p.37 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the HDD if it is a SATA drive
