Chosen Solution
I have a 15” Mid-2014 MacBook Pro that just died. The SSD is still good however, and I’d like to repurpose it as a portable hard drive if that’s possible. Can anyone here recommend a portable enclosure that will accommodate the MacBook Pro’s SSD? Small size and durability are priorities, and USB-C compatibility is a nice bonus if possible. Does such a beast exist? Thank you in advance!
This is one from iFixit that would work it is a bit large though: [linked product missing or disabled: IF107-148-1] Not sure about other ones as this is a Apple PCI-E based SSD to USB enclosure.
