Installed A Samsung Ssd Drive And Got Question Mark Macbook Pro 15 Unibody Early 2011

I installed a samsung SSD drive in my late 2011 MacBook pro and after some time got the question mark. Ran tests, so last resort removed and reinstalled my SATA drive and worked perfectly. Figure must be the hard drive cable. Gonna try and install a new SSD drive but replace the hard drive cable. Should I use the 2012 cable? Thanks
