I have Samsung washer model wf45m5500ap/a5. The washer does not turn on. Everything I’ve seen online suggest replacing the Logic Board fixes these kinds of issue. The only problem is its virtually impossible to get my hands on one. Its out of stock everywhere and the few places I find them cost almost as much as a new washer. I wanted to know if anyone had any idea if the logic board part dc92-01982a is interchangeable with any other models. I have seen other similar logic boards much cheaper but I don’t have a clue if it will work with my model.
Julio Calcano there are always reasons why boards are getting expensive and are tough to come by. Number one reason is the model is not very popular so the manufacturer just stopped building the PCB. The other reason is that there are design issues which causes failures and everybody needs a replacement board. This will then deplete the market and we may get stuck with a longtime project until we find a replacement. Anyhow, I assume you are looking for the DC94-07242A control board. Like you said, pretty much non-existent. Post some good pictures of your board with your QUESTION. Let see if there is a possibility to repair your board. If nothing else and as a last resort I would suggest you contact places like this who do circuit board repairs.
