The power button turns the screen off without error but when pressed again to resume sometimes only the backlight comes on, when pressed again the backlight goes of and then again and the full screen comes on.
This issue is caused by a bad screen. It sounds like a faulty replacement screen. The only solution that would remedy this is replacing the screen with another replacement screen.
