I have a Polaroid 4k TV that’s over 7 years old and hasn’t given me any trouble until now. I woke up this morning to a black screen. The power light was on and it was green, indicating the TV was on and the connected sound bar had audio. I turned the TV off and on again and I once again had a picture, but it went black again after a period of time. It’s now been doing this off and on all day and sometimes when I touch the side of the screen it goes black. I shined a flashlight on the screen and there is a picture on the screen when it goes black. What’s going on here?
You may want to check that the lights in the back of your Polaroid 4K’s internals are connected and working properly. If that is not the issue, you should check that your LCD cable is fully connected as well.
