My Galaxy Tab 3 takes days, sometimes a week to charge while turned off using any charger,. Turned on, it goes in and out of charge mode and never fully charges, in fact, it actually loses charge probably because the screen and charge tone are constantly going on and off. It`s even worse using the OEM charger. I have recently replaced the battery with an OEM part with no change. Any help you people can provide will make you my heros and sheros forever. Thank you Bart
try going into settings and turn on power saver mode. Then turn it off and put it on the charger.
Re: OEM charger, did you use a new cable AND plug adapter? Cables can go bad as well. Possible the charging port may be bad or damaged as well. Inspect it with a magnifying glass for any bad soldering, broken off jumpers, and broken pin(s). Have you replaced the charging port itself? Some tab 3 models have a port that is attached to the logic board by a (16?) pin connector. If you have one of those then replacement is EASY, otherwise you’ll need expert microsoldering skills to swap out the charging port. I’m assuming OS is up to date. Good luck.
