Have an iPhone 7 Plus which wasn’t vibrating or charging properly. Changed the trinity ic M8200 for a working one. Charging and bottom loud speaker now work fine. However the vibration works for approximately a minute after start up then stops (this isn’t a consistent number of seconds), not working from any source (home button, silent switch..). If the phone is turned off and left for a bit. The vibration will function again for around a minute when it is turned back on. The phone doesn’t appear to have any other issues. One detail is the working M8200 was lifted off a Qualcomm board and the repaired one is Intel. Not sure if that makes any difference. I was thinking it wouldn’t for this IC. Should I replace with a new M8200, or does this suggest a different issue? Thanks

It sounds like the tapic engine is getting hot and stops working. If you let it sit it cools down and starts working. I would try a new tapic engine. They are only a few dollars.
