I installed a new battery from ifixit. Macbook booted but internal keyboard and touchpad didn’t work and computer lagged badly. I just installed a new touchpad flex cable and the lagging stopped but the internal keyboard and touchpad still don’t work. What is next?
Ouch, yep you need a new trackpad and your cable maybe damages as well.
The logic within it maybe damaged. I’ve gotten a few bad cables. If you can get the part with the cable installed.
