I was using my macbook in a music recording software called LogicX. I opened a new file and suddenly my keyboard just stopped working. I couldn’t use ANY of the keys, but the trackpad was still moving. When in doubt, I always just restart my computer, and the power button worked. However, when I got to the login page, the keyboard still wasn’t working to enter my password. I tried resetting the PRAM by shutting down, powering up, and pressing the option-command-R-P buttons, but the keyboard must not be registering that even because it didn’t work. Is there anything else I can try??

Has it been dropped or had a spill? Do you have a good “Paid For” anti-virus? Will it start up in Safe Mode , hold down the Shift key on start up. You said you opened LogicX. Is his Apple’s Logic X Pro? If so did you get a legal copy or a knock off such as from a torrent site?
