I have a Sony xperia z5 premium (dual sim). I dropped it, and. Is the screen went black with colored lines, nothing else. Won’t boot up that I can tell anyway. It’s not cracked on the putter screen at all. I’m looking around to see what I may need to replace, where to get it and how to fix it myself. The phone repair shop here in town wants $115.00. And I don’t have the money to spend on someone else repairing it.
Hi @jw82610 , Here’s a video that shows how to replace the display assembly. Replacement display assemblies are available online. Just search for Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Display Assembly (LCD and Touch Screen) to get results for suppliers. You will also need the tools and expertise to open the phone and repair it without causing more damage and therefore more expense. Something to consider perhaps if you’ve never done this before.
