Is there a way to get images from the phone’s internal storage if the phone is dead? I got the phone wet a couple of months ago and it hasn’t started since. I’d say there is corrosion on the components. I was hoping to get the photos off of the internal storage. Can this be done? thanks

Yes. There are two ways to get your photos back:

  1. Repair your phone and get all your photos via USB/Google Photos/whatever you prefer.
  2. Find someone to recover your photos from the internal storage directly. Even if your phone is completely dead, chances are the eMMC/flash chip is still alive. This won’t work if you’ve enabled encryption.

There is a high chance that the phone could be gone but the only way to find out is by opening it up. The LCD itself could be gone and maybe the battery. No harm in trying as you have said the phone is already gone.
