I have been searching online, it sounds as though this brick might be happening because I have a replacement screen from a 3rd party such as ifixit? Has anyone experience this issue? If it is a real issue I would imagine we are all done working on iphones?
Try doing a hard reset, then try a reinstall. http://www.hard-reset.com/apple-iphone-6…
Do not upgrade iPhone 6 with a replaced home button, doing so will kill the phone forever unless you get the original button back.
Replacing the home button will only affect the ID touch, Go back in and take LCD off, disconnect battery first. Then First, connect LCD, connectors ,then 2nd. Connect the battery, don’t over tighten screws. Then do a hard reset, Then connect to iTunes using a USB cable and do a restore to this computer see if that fixes your problem., also, check to make sure you didn’t acciedently put the phone in DFU mode. See if any of that fixes it
I just had it happen to me with a 3rd party battery. iphone 4s was running beautifully. Just tried to update from iOS8 to 9 and it got bricked. Apple store guy said that’s what happens now if there are any third party components in there. THANKS!
