My sons tablet stopped working. It would not change or anything. I tried different cords chargers outlets and everything.I took it to a shop to change out the charger port and he tried his 5 in 1 charging cord and it started charging with ONLY that cord. he opened 3 boxes or new cords and it didnt work. I’m scared to let me son get the cord as he may break it. They stopped making that brand of cord. Has anyone came across this problem? If so how do I fix it? Thank you,
Have the charging port replaced. You need to take it to a shop to solder the new one on and that should fix your problem. Make sure you are using original apple charging cables or MFI Certified charging cables. Cheap charging cables can damage the iPad.
