I have an iPad 7 2019 model that just died on me the other day just a black screen not showing any charging whatsoever so I purchased a USB Voltage/Amps Power Meter when tested it is showing 5.12V 005A see image
What I’m looking to find out will I need to replace the charging port or will I just replace the battery to fix this issue I have also tried the soft reset with the power button and home button Thanks
The charging port is soldered (even if you have tools but no experience do not attempt). Take it to a local repair shop as it sounds like there is a short somewhere.
