Chosen Solution
I’ve recently replaced the digitizer on a first gen iPad Air and now the LCD glitches out. I can only reproduce the glitch after leaving the iPad inactive for 10-15 mins. Upon turning it on after 10-15 mins of inactivity, It glitches out for a few seconds, and then shows an image and works normally.
Heres what i’ve tried: Disconnecting the LCD and reconnecting Making sure all of the cables are snug Resetting the iPad (Holding down power and home button) Powering off and powering back on
You could’ve caused damage to the LCD or knocked a component off of the board while disconnecting the screen
