When plugged in my ipad is showing battery icon with 4 red vertical stripes and then goes to show apple logo, then blank, nothing. If the power cord is removed the device is not responding. please help
If it has never been opened, then you may have damage from non-Apple charger usage on the tristar (U2) chip. This is pretty difficult to repair due to positioning of the chip and heavy underfill. Rule out physical damage to the charge port itself. It is unlikely to be the actual battery.
