Chosen Solution
I just got my hands on a fairly beaten iPad mini 3, the digitizer is cracked, the battery is dead and the housing is very damaged around the corners. As the iPad mini 2 is pretty much the same thing and there are many more iPad mini 2 housing options to buy available, I was wondering if I could use it for the mini 3? Has anyone tried this?
i have been looking into getting a housing replacement for a bent one, and havent been able to source a new one, most are just bashed up ones on ebay. i did try union repair, they have quite the selection, might be worth looking there, only thing is, the postage is expensive.
