My kids have an iPad mini that they dropped and smashed the screen. Now it won’t turn on. When it plugged into the wall adapter the red (empty) battery appears as if to say it’s charging but it won’t turn on?! It managed to get stuck on the apple logo before so I tried the home/power reset and it disappeared again! The backlight seems to come on but I can’t see the screen at all?! I’ve tried googling but can’t find anything to help!
Have you tried plugging it into iTunes and seeing if it recognizes it? If it does, you could always try a restore.
