Hey guys… Been usin my iPad mini over a yr nw n it’s neva given me any prblms til dis mornin. I charged it overnite n woke up only 2 find out dat d device wasn’t powering on anymre. No smells of burns either frm d device or d charger. Pls help!!!
Unplug it and try a soft reset, hold the power and home button for at least ten seconds. If it doesn’t turn on…. Turn the charging cable over and let it charge for about an hour. If it doesn’t turn on…. Try another charger for an hour or so If it doesn’t turn on…. Plug it into a machine and see if iTunes detects it If it doesn’t turn on…. Leave it plugged into the computer and hold the power and home button for at least ten seconds. Let us know if anything changes.
Dare, were you using an certified apple charger? If it was aftermarket, the power IC Chip may have been fried.
