Chosen Solution

iPad worked fine, then at the morning it didn’t turn on. At night it was about 50%+ of charge. I tried all solutions I found: charge it for hours, press Lock + Home in different variations, connect to Mac (with different combinations of buttons) – nothing helped. The only sign it shows – heating on charge. Called to service, they said that iPads can’t be repaired and replacing unit will cost me $300. Didn’t plan to buy new iPad now, is there any more solutions to try?

There is a possibility of bad battery. I would try a new battery. Did you use an aftermarket charging cable? If you use a charging cable that was not an Apple cable or MFI Certified cable can cause the tristar ic to be damaged and it can cause it to not charge and no longer be able to transfer data. The aftermarket charging cables can cause voltage spikes that damage the tristar ic.
