Chosen Solution
My ipad2 just turns on, stays for around 3 minutes trying to turn on, then it turns off again, and goes back to trying to turn on, this only stops when I put it on DFU or recovery mode. I’ve alredy tried using Reiboot to fix this problem, as well as updating the OS trough itunes, restoring, factory reseting, as well as discharging the battery completly and trying to charge it again.
It could be your battery is starting to fail. I’m not exactly sure but if your battery is having problems it would explain it shutting off and retrying to turn on.
Hmmm… Sounds like a trip to Apple! The battery is worn and you will need a new battery Possibly, however, it’s completely broken, just not visible when assembled. Questions Have you dropped in water? Dropped it in general? Bought it from Ebay? (ebay stuff sometimes is broken if used and sold off of it) Anything you think might of caused the problem?
