hi , I accidentally drop my phone into the pool. I did not aware iPhone 10 is water proof . Without thinking , I brought to the service iPhone tech to do dry service. They open it up charge for 40 US. it is working and no problem. my question is the phone still water proof after open the case or not ? thanks
If it is authorized service partner, there’s about half chance it is no longer water resistant. They have the procedure to reapply water resistant adhesive, but it is unreliable and they don’t have a testing procedure. If it is not AASP, chances are basically zero. You can test it yourself using a barometer app
