Hi, As the title says, I ran a test on my iphone 11, and the rear camera doesn’t work, it stays black. But when I test the ultra wide camera, it works. What could this be? Should I still buy an entirely new rear camera?
The rear camera is sold as one complete assembly and replacing it should fix your issue. When you change to ultrawide, it switches the camera sensor which would explain why this is happening. If you put your finger over one of them and switch to ultra wide and back to normal camera you might see what I’m talking about.
