i have a 3gs iphone and the Lcd goes dark after i turn the brightness up past halfway has anyone experienced this before , its a new LCD Assembly, is the LCD bad or the Coil shorting out on the logic board
If it has anything to do with the coil, it wouldnt really give you backlight. Try turning the auto-brightness off and see if it does anything to help. If it does, it could be the ambient light sensor (#3 ribbon). Other than that, my guess would be the LCD is giving out.
