Hi, If you connect the phone to this laptop for a first time, maybe you need drivers for it. Open “Device manager” and check for unknown device. You must have - Portable device>Apple iPhone. If not, install iTunes, this will fix the problem. If you have already installed iTunes on this laptop and you have an Apple device in the device manager, then try on another PC and with a different cable (to be sure where is the problem).
