Iphone 4S Replacement Screen Not Working With Ios 5 1 1 Iphone 4S

So I replaced the screen of my iPhone 4S not knowing that if you have it on IOS 5.1.1 that the replacement screen was not going to work if you have the phone on IOS 5.1.1. Is there any way i can get around having to update or am i screwed. The phone is jailbroken and will not turn on so i cant save the SHSH blobs.
