Chosen Solution
I purchased a new battery from iFixit last May (almost a year now). Phone was fine until a week ago. The percentage of charge, at which it shuts down, has been steadily increasing. This morning it shut down at 68 percent, when it started doing this it was shutting down about 50 percent. I thought the replacement battery was suppose to last longer than a year. I take it this is the battery. Daphne
It definitely sounds like there is an issue with your battery. You could try a new battery and see if that solves your problem. If your ifixit battery is still under warranty, you should be able to get it replaced. ifixit offers a 1 year warranty on their replacement parts. The iFixit Guarantee
