Hello! Ok, so if I was to put a white screen on my iPhone 5C, or any 5+ iPhone, would the boot logo change color automatically or would I need some sort of a jailbreak tweak to do so?
I have a extremely strong suspicion that this is a software setting on the mainboard, and swapping the display for one with a different color bezel will change nothing. Jailbreaking your phone is pretty easy, especially if you’re on iOS 7 (not 7.1 where there is only a Chinese jailbreak at the moment).
try restore it using itunes, if still same problem, just take it to genius bar
You know what!!!! I’ve changed quite a few of the iphone 5 range screens, and haven’t even taken on board the different colour boot logos from black to white!!!!!
No it won’t change as it’s programed into the motherboard a jailbreak might exist that lets you do this
