Chosen Solution
Hey, A friend of mine gave me his iPhone 5 to have the power button fixed. The button worked properly but there was no response on the phone. I replaced the whole flex (volume, mute, power), volume and mute works, but the power button still doesn’t. The button didn’t stop working suddenly, it begins little by little until it does nothing. Any ideas?
could very well be a bad power flex, they are cheap enough to try another and see if this solves the problem. I repair Ipad’s at work and every third NEW power flex will actually be a good one.
