I have recently completed an iPhone 5 screen replacement for a friend. All went well and the screen was replaced successfully. For the best part of a minute that is. After working for about twenty seconds the screen went into the apple reboot screen. I have re opened the phone to test for all possible flaws in my fix. All screws are in their correct places. And I’ve tried loosening and tightening them to no avail. Nor are any ribbon cables loose. All guides I’ve seen detail long screw damage but I’m assured that is not the cause. Any fixes that you could all think of would be greatly appreciated.
if it came with the front speaker, camera and home button attached try disconnecting them and just plug in the lcd connector to see if it changes
