Hi, i have iphone 5, it was water damaged, it looks it works fine, PC recognize it etc, but nothing on screen. Is it possible to swap memory chip to other working iphone 5 ? without screen i cannot unlock it, so i cant get photos from there, so this is only way i can think of. Or is it somehow paired with motherboard or something?
No, swapped memory chip cannot be read at all. It is impossible to recover data in this way. You can repair the board to recover data, or swap memory chips, erase all data and reprogram serial number so it can be used as a “new” phone, though I doubt it is worth doing.
