I replace the battery and the audio cable assembly in my iPhone 5. After the repair the phone does not charge even though it recognizes the charger plugged into the phone.
does lightning cable works ? do you use original certified charger and lightning cable ?is there any sign of corroded or damages in lightning connector?
The phone did recognize the power cord being plugged in (lightning bolt shows up). The original charger was used, and there are no signs of corrosion. I put the original battery back in and the phone charges without issue. I put the bad battery in another phone and it exhibits the same error state. Since the issue tracks with the battery hardware who can I contact to get a new replacement battery.
