My iPhone 5 won’t power on or recharge after trying everything. I even tried disconnecting the battery and plugging it in to the computer, but still nothing shows up. Is this a dock connector issue, or perhaps a logic board issue? Phone is out of warranty so I can’t take back to Apple.
Wes Kroesbergen, couple of things you do want to try. First repalce the battery, if that does not work, replace the dock connector. If those are okay, you can assume you are having logic board issues (unless something else happened to the phone) If so, you will have to have the right tools and skills for further trouble shooting.
