My iPhone 5c rear camera has stopped working. When opening the camera app the front facing camera works but the rear appears black. Additionally, when attempting to use the flashlight the icon is grayed out. The flashlight will not start when it is pressed. I think that I have ruled this out the possibility of this being a software issue. I have rebooted, restored, and update the phone with no change in behavior. I need to know how the rear camera and flashlight are connected. Do they both connect to the logic board? Is there a sub board that they both connect to? Should I replace the entire logic board in this case? I am going to pop the phone open and see what I can see.

the iPhone 5c has 2 separate parts there. the rear camera and the power flex. also known as the upper component cable

we remove this ic and replaced with another one and work really good

My iPhone 5c rear camera and flashlight did not working.so I have no any idea please tell me

no,just replace the bord terminal surface of the camera ,befor you can fix it back

Buy a logic board lmao better just buy another phone.. The flash and camera are connected together just replace with a new camera no point jumping the gun thinking it’s a board problem.
