Hi, I have an iphone 5c that had a broken screen. It worked perfect. I powered it off. opened it up. Unplugged the battery. popped a new screen on. Plugged that battery back in and now the phone won’t turn on. I tried cleaning the connectors and plugging it into a charger. Itunes won’t detect it either. I don’t see what I did wrong. I’ve done many screen replacements so this is new to me. The board doesn’t even heat up like it would if it would successfully power on. Anyone know what might have happen or how to fix it?

If you have a microscope look around for burn or missing components. If the logic board is fine then it could be your display connections due to damage screws when placing the wrong screw back into place or the U2 chip went out causing it not to turn on and everything is dead. Have you put a good know battery that is fully charge to see if it’s the U2 chip or not.
