Hi everyone, I have an iPhone 5s that always worked properly. However, since almost a year it won’t charge anymore. Pushing the home/power button together does not work either and it shows no signs of “receiving” electricity. Is that fixable? If yes, how can I? :)
Step one—see if it will boot with a new battery. Step two—if it does, see if it can charge that battery.
If this phone has been left uncharged for a long period of time, the phone will be unable to charge the dead battery. You will either need to: Replace the battery or Plug the battery into a recover board to charge it sufficiently for the phone to be able to charge the battery.
