I have ordered (and received) an iPhone 5s LCD Screen and Digitizer repair kit for an iPhone 5S model A1457. When I lift out the front panel as described in the guide, the front panel comes of but the Home button is fixed on (I think) the speaker. The screen itself is clued to the body without any screws. Seems like the repair kit cannot be used for this iPhone 5S model. What could be the cause of this / do I need another repair kit ? Thanks, Frank
This sounds very strange, the home button shouldn’t be fixed on the speaker, it has it’s own flex cable. Can you upload some pictures for us to see what you got? That would be very helpful
