A long while back I broke my old iPhone 5S, and I just got around to fixing it about a week ago. It went well, but now I’m stuck on another problem, one I haven’t found a fix for yet. The phone was about to be upgraded to the newest iOS version before it got broken, and I don’t remember the passcode, which I need in order to continue with the upgrade. Whenever I plug it into my computer, it isn’t recognized by it. The data on the phone is what matters to me, so I can’t just wipe it and start over. Any and all help would be incredibly appreciated.
how long ago did it break as the battery might not be charging, if it shows anything on the screen try a different cable or charge port
If you have a windows pc try downloading the iTunes app for windows and then connecting the phone to your computer. the phone should show up in the app. Try backing up from there.
