I have recently dug my two old iPhone 5S’s out of a drawer and when pluggin one of them in the Apple Logo appeared for around 5 seconds and then dissapeared. I though that it was just because it was a dead battery (due to sitting in a drawer for years) so left it to charge overnight. The issue still occurs whenever I push the power button or plug it in. I have tried a known good charged battery and the same issue still occurs. I can not even get the device into DFU mode or Recovery mode as it just turns off. Any advice or possible solutions would be great.
The battery has a built in over discharge protection chip. This effectively locks out the battery when the voltage gets too low, when an iPhone cant read the battery it won’t really try to boot past the first part of the bootloader Try a replacement battery Where they put in the drawer in the first place due to this issue? :) It can be something else wrong with the phone
