I drop my phone and the screen cracked , I replace a new screen myself and accidentally broke the Touch ID sensor Ribben cable ,and i brought a new Touch ID sensor and replace it , after the replacement the new screen is doing fine but the Touch ID is not working at all " failed - unable to complete Touch ID setup . Please go back and try again " I keep go back and try again randomly but it still the same it won’t work at all !! Why ?
Because the sensor is provisioned with a unique key to encrypt the link to the CPU. It is designed to be in this way in order to be secure. You just destroyed Touch ID on this phone, forever.
i didn’t unauthorized repair. Before like this my ios 7.0.4 but after i restore my iphone to ios 8.0.2 my fingerprint cant work
