I have iphone 5s , it might have got water damaged and it won’t turn on . I sent it to the shop I bought it from they said it can’t be fixed anymore. But now I tried to turn it on it just show the apple logo . But it won’t start. What should I do ?
There isn’t a whole lot that can be done with water damage. Check out iFixit’s youtube video on water damage for detailed information. Chances are the repair shop opened it up and found significant damage to the motherboard. There are countless ICs, processors, filters, fuses and an assortment of other very tiny electrical components that get damaged when your phone gets wet. The consensus in the repair world is the best thing to do with a water damaged phone is to get it working enough to transfer the data out of it and then scrap it.
